As human beings, and also social individuals, we have the need to communicate with each other, share ideas or feelings or just express our thoughts. In this sense, the emerge of language was something unavoidable due to the fact that it is intrinsic feature of what make us different from animals.
It is said that language is a powerful weapon, because whit it we are able to have control over the acts of others, and it is posssible to said that is the favorite artifact used by dictators in order to have the control of citizens' lives. It is easy to observe this fact in the book "Animal Farm" where animals take the control of the farm and convert it from a peaceful place to a ruthless dictatorship. Dictators are consciuos that language has this characteristic; therefore, they try to use it in their own benefit. Throughout history there are a large number of cases that represent this fact, where at the beginning the "dictator" and his followers convince people that the changes he is doing in the society are the best for them, and later, even though, the situation is the worst for everybody, through the use of language the dictator affirm that his ideas and ideals are in the right side and the rest, in the wrong position. With this reasoning it is possible to say that language is not only a mean of persuation, but also a way of intimidation.
